A Forex Autopilot/Forex Killer Comparison

Two of the hottest and best forex software packages available are Forex Killer and Forex Autopilot. On more than one occasion I have been asked, 'So, which is better, Forex Killer or Forex Autopilot?'. It seems that most people don't really understand that these two systems are totally different, first lets take a look at each of them and what they do:

Forex Autopilot by Marcus Leary

This is an automated trading robot designed to work with the MetaTrader4 platform. The idea being that you plug the software in and it takes care of everything. It analyzes the market, determines when to make the trade and then actually places the trades for you. It's the equivalent of having a car that drives itself. It's quote a powerful piece of software and was responsible for the recent popularity of automatic trading.

Forex Killer by Andreas Kirchberger

This software isn't automated and is what's known as a signal generator. That is, it analyzes the market and then makes recommendations of what you should do. For instance it may tell you to get into a trade that marking and pull out in the afternoon. It can give advice, but in the end the decision is up to the individual. Keeping with the car example, it's like an automatic car. It knows when to change gears, but ultimately you still have to do the driving.

This is the key difference between these software packages, while they both do analyzing one will trade on your behalf, and the other will only recommend trading. Which one is better? This answer really depends on what sort of trader you are and how comfortable you feel with an automatic system. Personally I prefer Forex Killer because I can couple its generated signals with my own system for killer (see what I did there) trades. Forex Autopilot is good, and lots of people would recommend it for it's ease of use, but I don't usually trade automatic robots, no matter how good they are.

In the end it's up to you. If you want an automated system then you are likely going to buy Forex Autopilot. If you want a signal generation software and something that will enhance your trading without overtaking it, then I recommend Forex Killer.
