Forex Day Trading

Unlike trading stocks, day trading forex is extremely difficult for both beginners and experienced traders. The major problem here is that day trading is very attractive for lots of people quite obviously because of the small time frames. Since the market is open 24 hours a day it would mean that a potential trader (YOU!) would have to site and watch the market constantly in order to make your trading as profitable as possible (this of course assumes you aren't using an EA like FAP Turbo).

What some people don't understand is that the foreign exchange lacks any real volatility during the day and most of the action happens in the first couple of hours. It often then becomes a mental game, all of that analyzing with nothing happens can make many traders 'think' they spot something good just to save themselves from boredom. This can lead to severe and costly mistakes because you end up trading not on a strategy but rather through emotion.

The most successful traders know that longer periods of time are the best to trade the market. It results in less stress, and more often then not larger profits. So, the recommendation is quite simple, avoid day trading on Forex and focus on longer time frames. It will be much more profitable for you in the long run.
